All of your St Barths info is amazing and super helpful!! Thank you so much for this! My husband and I are visiting for the first time in July to celebrate our Anniversary. We are staying at Le Barthelemy but I keep thinking we should switch to Rosewood? I saw you recommended Rosewood for families so maybe we will just stay at Le Barthelemy 🙂 lol.

Also, our flight lands at SXM at 12:35pm on a Saturday. Do you think we will have enough time if we book a 1:50pm Winair? Just curious on your thoughts. Thanks!!

Hi!! Le Toiny and Cheval Blanc are definitely more low-key in terms of a buzzy pool scene. You might find Le Barthelemy to be a bit more lively, and Eden Rock for sure. To be honest, we usually find ourselves relaxing on the days that we’re at our hotel, and then do fun boozy lunches off-property in between!

Definitely crazy prices around New Years. Closest to town would be Eden Rock (St Jean) and Carl Gustaf (Gustavia). Carl Gustaf doesn’t have a pool but the individual rooms do 🙂 Hope that helps!

Sounds like an AMAZING trip!!! To be honest, I feel like most of the spas at the hotels are fairly small/not sure if any would have enough therapists to accommodate everyone at once! I bet if you asked your villa concierge they could set up in-villa massages for everyone which might be nice! In terms of glam, I haven’t used her personally but I’ve heard great things about Idalme: https://www.idalmistbarth.com/beauty-salon

I so enjoyed reading your guide. We visited for our honeymoon 10 years ago (stayed at Eden Roc) and are heading back to celebrate our 10th anni & 40th birthdays in early August 2023. We are bringing 5 other couples and staying in Villa Eclipse (through Eden Roc). A couple questions, if you have time. :). What do you think would be the best spa for our group to visit? Do they have any glam squad type services on the island where they come to the villa? Thank you!

Looking at st barts for our honeymoon. Sadly, we get married in september but have to push the honeymoon to new years due to work and im realizing quickly prices are inflated. None theless i feel like St Barts is worth it. We are looking for a hotel thats sexy, has a pool with a great view but close to all the hot spots. We love a good night out on the town.

My husband and I are planning our babymoon to St. Barthes – we like privacy but also like to have a cool pool scene option during the day (similar to The Andronis hotel in Santorini, Greece). We like modern chic hotels with great food! We are currently thinking about Hotel Le Toiny but are worried it may be a bit too secluded – is there a cool pool scene where people grab drinks and hang by the pool during the day or just the beach club?
We also looked at the cheval blanc but open to other recommendations

We do not want to be at a hotel with heavy families/kids. We are in our late 30s early 40s.

I’d say you can’t go wrong with Revolve or Shopbop! Lots of good flowy dresses and resort accessories 🙂

We are very excited and I found this guide to be so helpful. I’m starting to prep by picking up some outfits and wondered if you had any retailers you recommend I shop at!?
